Victory Churches believe in tithing! Many things are accomplished through tithing. We break our dependence upon money and learn to trust God for all our needs. We also honour God with our finances as we learn the discipline of giving back to Him.

We believe tithing is a principle given by God to release His blessing upon both individuals and organizations. Therefore, Victory Churches in Canada tithe (10% percent of all our income) towards a Canadian Fund. That fund is divided so that 50% stays to assist mainly in the planting and support of Canadian Churches as they present needs. The other 50% of the fund is used to support International Missions and Apostolic initiatives. Consequently, all our churches who tithe are automatically involved in World Missions supporting outreaches, church planting, feeding programs, orphanages, schools and a multitude of other humanitarian causes.

Beyond tithing often churches give towards other needs that present themselves from time to time. This includes the support of certain missionaries with whom we have relationship and a desire to invest in their ministries. Below are two ministry couples Regina Victory Church supports regularly beyond our other missions giving.

al & terry purvis

Al & Terry Purvis moved their young family to Thailand in 1981 and adopted 27 jungle kids orphaned by the Vietnam war and called themselves the ‘El Shaddai Family’. The principles of adoptions and mentoring learned in the following couple of decades gave birth to an apostolic platform that now gathers and mentors new leaders across 10 countries in Asia. "We Make Leaders” is the passion behind planting churches, Bible colleges, and other creative ministries.
